The Kuebitz Residence combined ICF wall construction with an Insuldeck concrete roof deck system, creating a fully integrated structural concrete assembly from foundation to roof. This approach unifies wall and floor structure in one material system, eliminating the mix of framing types common in conventional builds.
Insuldeck decking panels span between walls and serve as the permanent form for the structural concrete slab above. Workers place reinforcing steel within the deck forming system before the pour — the Kuebitz project photos document this installation phase.
Forming Solutions supplied both the Fox Blocks ICF and the Insuldeck deck forming system. Penna Construction performed all concrete structural work across both systems.
